Today a bunch of us forayed into Chestertown, MD to go to the Farmers Market.  I loved going here when we kept our boat in Rock Hall.  My particular favorite vendor is the Lapp Family.  They make such delicious breads and pastries, my favorite being White Potato Pie, that there was no question I'd be a good customer.

We then had lunch at Evergrain Bakery at the corner of High and Queen Streets.  The owner is 23 years old and everything is absolutely wonderful.  They are open for lunch and make a few specialty sandwiches and soup varieties each day.

We walked through historic Chestertown to Lolli's Gallery which is so interesting with many artistic items, including jewelry, paintings, pottery and hand-woven items.

While I was gone, Ralph visited with our friends on the dock at Great Oak Landing, Millicent and Bruce.  I joined him and we had a great time catching up on what's been happening the past 5 years since we'd last seen each other.

In the evening we enjoyed a buffet dinner at Mangoe's Restaurant at Great Oak and various members spoke about upcoming CBC and MTOA events.  Danny made a presentation to all veterans present and a special gift to the boat that traveled the farthest to the event, which was us...all the way from Cape Coral, FL.

Here are a few photos from today:
