We're still at the St. Ignace Public Marina due to strong winds and rough water. The next leg of our trip will be 50 miles without anywhere to tuck in, so we will have to wait and pick our day to travel. It's a nice place to be. St. Ignace is a lovely little town with everything close to the marina -- banks, post office, grocery store, little shops, good restaurants and the marina has a convenient laundromat.
This morning we took a stroll on the little boardwalk that runs along the water's edge. Ralph bought new speakers for the fly bridge stereo and I bought Murdick's Fudge -- Traverse City Black Cherry and Peanut Butter -- and dill pickle potato chips. We have our priorities, after all. We have a little beef roast with rosemary and cracked black pepper cooking in the crock pot for dinner and the whole place smells wonderful.
