We left Paris Landing State Park, Buchanan, TN at 7:40 this morning.  The Tennessee River was beautiful this morning and toward noon, totally flat.  We passed many fishing boats, but only one cruising  boat on the water today.  There is a hint of fall in the air.  Some of the trees along our route were just beginning to turn color.

I spent most of the day inside the cabin reading "Unbroken," an excellent true story about the Japanese portion of WWII, and doing some writing.  That was interspersed with keeping the Captain supplied with coffee, cold drinks, munchies and lunchie.

We traveled 62 miles today and are anchored in Lick Creek, Parsons, TN, a lovely peaceful spot for overnight.

We aren't sure what this is or was out in the middle of the Tennessee River
