Last night we had torrential rains and it rained almost all day here at Green Turtle Bay in Grand Rivers, Kentucky. We decided to stay another day and did a whole lot of nothing today. I don't mind a rainy day now and then.
We had a conference call this morning with the rehab facility which included Ralph's mom and dad, sister, aunt and uncle, and the occupational therapist, the physical therapist and the speech pathologist, as well as the social worker. Ralph's mom is progressing nicely but is still not ready to come home. She will be examined by a neuro-ophthalmologist tomorrow, as she has been experiencing double vision and dizziness. Hopefully, he will be able to shed some light on this condition for her. All her therapists are very pleased with her progress and have commented that she is a hard worker and strives to meet the goals they set before her. That's good news. Thank you for your continued prayers for her.
We skyped with Betsy and the cherubs this evening. They are purring along and like their teachers in school. Hard to believe Jack is in 4th grade and Reese in 2d already. My, how time flies. Skype is a wonderful tool to be able to see everyone with our own eyes. We like it very much.
I've been reading "Unbroken" a most interesting story about WWII, so I spent the day relaxing and reading. A lot of our Looper friends are here in the marina and the men got together for chats throughout the day so Ralph hobnobbed a bit with his cronies.
I need additional space on my blog and have ordered it. I took no photos today, here is a photo of the yacht club I took yesterday:
