...And now a word from our sponsor:

If you're looking for a Christmas gift or a good read for yourself this winter and you like true crime stories, you may be interested in my book, "Tried Three Times."   The book is based on a true story that took place in my hometown, Altoona, Pennsylvania in 1936.

Available on Amazon.com in paperback or Kindle format and Barnesandnoble.com in paperback or Nook format.  Thank you.

  2. I enjoyed your book. The technique you used was very interesting. I found myself trying to figure out what was fact and what was fiction! Do you believe that she was complicit in the murder? Or even planned it?

    1. Hi Sally: I'm glad you enjoyed the book and liked the writing style. The back story was fiction. The newspaper accounts and the trial transcripts were verbatim. Before I comment, what do you think? Was she complicit? Did she plan it?

  3. Well, I think she was definitely complicit but not sure she was smart enough to plan it. I think she probably knew that he was going to do this.

    1. I like to ask what my readers think, and the general consensus is that she was complicit. I agree. A few, however, believe otherwise. Only two people really know what happened.
