We had beautiful sleeping weather last night and we awoke to sunny skies and 73 degrees and the mooring field in Annapolis Harbor was as smooth as glass. We left Annapolis at 7:15 and traveled across the bay. It was so smooth that I gave myself a nice pedi on the way. Too bad I can't see very well to do a good job! Arrrghhh! We reached the Eastern Shore, particularly, our former marina, North Point Marina in Rock Hall at 9:30 AM. Lori came out to help us tie up. It was so nice to see her and Joe again, as well as some of our old friends on the dock.
I immediately started laundry and washed three loads. We borrowed Lori's car and went to "Elmer's" -- the Marine Railway Store for miscellaneous boat stuff -- Elmer has everything! We then had lunch at J & J's -- cream of crab soup and we shared a deep fried crab wrap -- our favorite lunch -- with sweet tea. I went next door to Styles Unlimited and made an appointment with Tracie for late this afternoon for a much needed haircut. It was nice to see her again too. Then we went to Bayside for groceries.
We had dinner this evening at Bay Wolf with Lori and Joe. Lots of lively conversation and a great meal. After dinner we took a little walk and ran into Ken and Debbie on Dreamland Express, our old dock friends and stopped in for a chat.
