We awoke this morning to glorious sunshine, 67 degrees and light winds. Several boats left the marina today, two heading north and one heading south. I did another load of wash and Ralph did some work on the teak decks and Striper and I played fetch in the grass. All of us, including the dogs were happy to be out and about today after three days of rain and dreary gray skies.
This evening Carolyn and Bob of Sea Island Girl invited us and a few others for a little soiree on their boat. We had a nice time chatting and getting to know each other. Most of us are leaving tomorrow. Our destination is St. Augustine. Others are going to Fernandina Beach and Jacksonville, FL and Brunswick, GA. Hopefully, we'll catch up with one another somewhere along the way as we make our way north for the summer.
