We're on I-81 near Staunton, VA as I write this.  We hope to be in NJ by late this afternoon.

The update we have on Ralph's mom as of last evening, she had been put into a turtle shell type apparatus to stabilize the spine and rib fractures -- no surgery on the spine.  The neurosurgeon who operated on her brain is the same treating physician for the new injuries. He hopes to have her up and walking today.  

Thank you for your continued prayers for us as we travel.  We are sad that Striper has to have tranquilizers -- she hates the car.  She is sleeping.  Thank you for your continued prayers.

Last night's back yard -- taken from the parking lot of Red Roof Inn in Roanoke, VA.  We always stay at Red Roof Inns when we travel with Striper -- they accept "one well-behaved dog."
