Today was a short day 20 miles w/tide against us from  Norrie Creek to Duck Cove to anchor.  A good R&R day.

  1. Hey Celeste and Ralph,

Hope your enjoying the trip. Are you seeing much of the history along the way? Are you seeing a lot of debris from these storms?

    1. Hi Elle: Nice to hear from you. We're loving every aspect of this adventure and are sorry you and Dick won't be making the trip this year. We wish him Godspeed on his knee recovery. It's been wonderful to be on the Hudson too -- so much to see -- I've taken a gazillion pix.

About the debris -- a lot of big logs and tree branches and flotsam of that nature especially around the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge area, but then it dissipated. We're in Waterford now and will head north on the Champlain Canal tomorrow, if the weather is good. We had a big storm today. Do keep in touch and our best regards to Dick for a speedy recovery.
